Scholarships shouldn't feel like paperwork. We connect individual students with individual sponsors — so giving lands with a real person, and support actually reaches the life it's meant for.

Raising two kids while finishing a BSN. Looking for help with tuition and a mentor in healthcare.
Who we are
1-to-1 Scholarships is a platform that connects individual students with individual sponsors for financial and mentor support. Students create profiles describing their needs, background, education, and goals. Sponsors — individuals, companies, and institutions — search for students they want to help using filters that go well beyond a GPA number.
A veteran can find a veteran. An immigrant can find an immigrant. A first-generation college student can find someone who was once in the same place. Thousands of combinations. Dozens of search criteria. One goal — the right match.
Our
Mission
"We believe giving should land with a person, not a spreadsheet."
Our mission is to change how scholarships work — from giving to a faceless institution to giving directly to a person. We believe one-to-one support empowers more students through education, and that sponsors give more when they can see exactly whose life they're changing.
The platform supports any level of giving — books, tuition, food, or housing. And beyond money, sponsors can offer time, guidance, and mentorship. A sponsor might give $500 per semester and five hours a month mentoring a student pursuing the same career they did.
